Ministry of Commerce official:RMB should be steady and China will achieve zero-tariff exports.
According to foreign reports, the Ministry of Commerce, deputy director of the Policy Research Office Wang Zixian commentary published on Tuesday said that China needs to keep RMB? real effective exchange rate stable to promote exports.

     Wang Zixian also said that, the Government should be committed to the achievement of the export tax rate of zero, and implemented the export credits, export credit insurance policies.

     Wang Zixian said: "We need to rely on the domestic and international markets to achieve steady and rapid economic development." He stressed that the decline in exports will cause unemployment to rise and is not conducive to the Government's efforts to stimulate consumption.
The first five months of this year, China's exports dropped by 21.8 percent over the same period last year.
 

   Wang Zixian said that the export industry? recovery will help to ease the industrial production overcapacity situation and prevent further decline in prices, and help to improve consumer confidence.
